First Day of Preschool

Liam rushed ahead of me to get to the door,

only to be told to turn around for a photo ;)

We found his star under his "hook" right next to our neighbor's star.

Time for mom to leave and Liam is settled in at a craft table with his friend and our neighbor Anna.

Soccer Class

Liam started a soccer class this week at the YMCA

It is pretty clear that I am going to need a better camera if he continues with sports, but you should spot him in green..the smallest one in the class.

He is doing really well with his coaches and seems to like it.

Swimming in the deep water

Liam jumped in the deep swimming area for the first time this year.

I can't believe how much he looks like Chuck in this picture.

and swimming with mom..who had to jump in in her underwear because Liam would not get in without her. Thank God it was a weekday on an island..I could have been naked and no one would have seen me.

Here comes a boat

and look who is driving!

The lessons have begun!

Bye, bye, river

We loaded into the boat and said goodbye to the river onThursday to head home.

Liam has become an excellent boater, always sitting and holding on.

Getting so strong

Campbell is up on all fours now rocking back and forth and projesting herself forward trying to crawl.

Ainsley is doing the same and pushing herself a bit further

into a plank position. I am not sure what they are getting ready for but the calisthenics are constant.

A new school

Liam opens the door to his new preschool on September 8th for the open house.

He was very nervous about the whole thing and wanted to leave immediately buts once we made it to the playground he was too busy in the sand to remember that he was upset.

He found a bupiano with Ava and Chloe and banged away on the keys.

His favorite sopart was this tractor. It kept him so busy that I had to lure him away with a Friendly's trip.

I happened upon this last week on the deck. They were all hanging out together outside laughing.

Liam starts driving!!

We dropped in on the Dardis family this week for a quick afternoon visit and Liam got to drive around in Ava's car.

Here they are cruising with the tunes cranked up just waving good bye as they drive away.

The babies did a lot of watching..

after a while we all did a lot of watching as Liam continued to drive around and around the yard..he loved it
