Santa Claus is coming...

Liam disappeared during breakfast and came back a few minutes later dressed as Santa with a hat and a sack with a present wrapped up in a box.

He even travelled in on his reindeer.

Twin Trouble!

While tending to Liam, I heard a scream and then a lot of crying coming from the family room. I found Ainsley very upset and Campbell quite calm.

Can you see what happened here?

How about with this view?

Poor Ainsley is a little annoyed with her smarty pantsing sister!..or is it diapersing??

Bountiful Break in

Ainsley and Campbell GLADLY benefit from Liam's rambunctious swinging on the snack cabinet door. Now, their mum-mums are easy access!

At the YMCA

We are the YMCA three mornings a week for Liam's sports classes. Sometimes I let the girls stretch out a bit. Here Campbell is banging on the bleachers ( a favorite past time).

Ainsley just crawled away.

Saint Nicholas left a ticket for the Polar Express!

Liam got all dressed in his pajamas and slippers for our trip on the Polar Express. We had to drive to Utica to catch the train. The station was filled with Santa's elves. They were singing and dancing and getting everyone excited for the big trip to the North Pole.

Liam was SO excited. It would be his very first train ride and it was taking him to see Santa!

We traveled along listening to the Polar Express being read over the loud speaker with snacks and great Christmas scenery.

To the North Pole!

We travelled along on the Polar Express to the North Pole..a mere 45 minute train ride!

Liam's ticket was punched by the conductor.

We finally arrived, just in time to see Santa give the first gift of Christmas.

Santa sat with us on the train!

Liam LOVED Santa this year. On the train ride back from the North Pole Santa had a long visit with each family on the train.

After Liam told Santa what he wanted for Christmas ( a dumpruck, a lawnmower and a gun..which he decided against when Chuck told him he would shoot his eye out..lol), Santa gave him a bell from his sleigh.

When we returned to the train station there was hot cocoa and cookies for everyone. It was a FANTASTIC event. We can't wait to do it again when the girls are bigger.

To Page's Farm for our tree

We warmed up in the barn with some hot cider.

I did not have gloves yet for the girls so Campbell was sporting mine for the trip.

The horses were very friendly.

This one drank all of my cider!

We got a beautiful tree and wreath for the door and we even got to see our friends, the Gloos. It was a perfect winter day and a nice way to start off the Christmas season.

Thanksgiving

We were lucky enough to have most of our families come to celebrate the holidays with us. It was nothing formal but it was filled with family which is the most important thing! Because we were hosting, Chuck and I were busy with everything but taking pictures. We have a few from dad- thanks dad!

Family photos???

Almost a perfect photo..or did we capture a little "brotherly love/torture"

I am a bit late in posting these photos and I was saddened to find a picture of Grady. Our dog of seven wonderful years passed away the Friday before Thanksgiving. He left us too early and we miss him very much.
