Baby Update

Things are getting REALLY BIG around here. My friend Sarah took this shot of me last week along with many other great ones so we'll remember this.

The girls are doing well and I am progressing well with a clean bill of health. No signs of an early arrival yet so I may get even BIGGER!

Regressing

While helping me go through his old baby bins, Liam found a whole container of newborn pacifiers which he took once while he was a baby. he tried them all out and settled on this one and kept it in his mouth for a few hours.

Thankfully, when he realized that I could not understand him with the passifier in his mouth he settled with the fact that they were for babies. Because he now knew they were for babies he took it, lifted up my shirt and tried to push it into my belly button to give to the babies!

Ice Skating!

Liam went ice skating for the very first time today! He did a great job walking around in his skates.

First, we tried to use the sled as support until he got the hang of it

but, he started leaning a little too much into it.

He went around the rink with Chuck many times but never got out on his own. We'll have to put up a rink in the backyard to give him more space to learn, but he loved it. Perhaps when I can help to we can get him a bit more situated but overall he did a great job!

Party Poopers

Liam's school had a big pajama party planned for Dec 31st. They made special hats and noise makers for the event, but poor Liam never got to go. We kept him home so we had our own party, just Liam and Mommy and Daddy.

Mail call

With all of the holiday mail that we have recieved in the past month, Liam has felt sorry for poor Grady who never receives any.

He wanted Grady to feel included so he piled up some mail to share for Grady to open too

Painting everywhere

Liam received lots of wonderful artistic tools for Christmas, so we have spent some time trying them all out.

he LOVES to paint. Fingerpainting is fun for him but he also has an obsession with taking off his socks and shoes to draw or paint on his feet!

Looking good Liam

Winter Break

We had a great family holiday with lots of time together and lazy mornings. Liam and Grady snuggled a lot.

We made gingerbread

and decorated them

and copied mommy on the couch with his very own Monster blanket from Aunt Mo.

Pool time at the Y

What's more fun than swimming in the middle of the winter??

We were pooped after our fun at the pool, so we went home to snuggle on the couch and watch the Polar Express one last time!

and the next day...

We were still opening on the 26th..it was no rush in our house. It was a quiet holiday for the Whites so we enjoyed our time together.

The Toby track from Maggie...he LOVED this one too

Outside with dad to build a snowman, make snow angels and , of course, eat some snow!

Slides are more fun with snow on them

Snow covered summer toys were still fun on the deck

Christmas Morning

Can you see that it is still dark out? We began Christmas very early. It was a jump start and then wham we were stalled. Liam's gift from Santa was all set up to play with, so play with it he did...for almost an hour with no interest in opening anything else!

Finally, after breakfast we put him back to work opening.

He took a break to wrestle the dog.

One of his favorite gifts- a soccer goal for the basement.
