Every Day is better at the zoo

The Dardis girls joined us for a trip to the zoo on a dreary day last week. The kids had a great time running around all of the exhibits with no crowds!!

Even Ainsley and Campbell got a good enough view to enjoy the animals.

And this little munchkin ran around with the big kids for the first time. Gabriella LOVED her freedom. Look at those cute little feet on their tippy toes to see the elephants.

Watching the elephant show....thanks for coming with us- we had a lot of fun.

Soooooooooooo hot

We had to be creative today to make the yard a little bit more fun

so we made a water slide.

Ainsley only got her feet wet

and Campbell tried to dive in!

Lucky ducks!

Loren broke his main sail and had to replace it so the boys (Chuck and Liam) went down to help him out and go for a sail, of course!

Liam still loves boats and is much sturdier on deck this year.

under way

There are no pictures but Liam swam in the lake. They threw him right off the deck.

Happy Sprinkle Kelly!

I made my very first diaper cake for Kelly's sprinkle this past Sunday. I forgot to bring my camera to the party :( . We can't wait to meet your little girl, Kel!

pool side

In this hot weather, we have been lucky to spend some time in our friend's pool. The girls love to cool off in the float (this is Campbell)

and Liam has become very brave in his water wings

This is the best shot of Ainsley

First Cookie!

Sarah sent us home from the party with teething biscuits for the girls and they really enjoy them. Ainsley figured it out right away

and Campbell held on tight to that cookie until it was mush.....definitely my girls!!

Life in the back yard

Liam now prefers to play in the baby cage..or he at least sneaks in whenever he can

and after his swim he likes to sun himself on the deck until he is dry.

Both girls enjoy hanging out in the walker or exersaucer on the deck in this nice weather that we are FINALLY having.

And everyone still wants to hold the babies. Here is our neighbor Anna holding Capbell while Liam holds Ainsley. Anna is completely enamoured with the girls

Gabriella turns 1!!

Lots of our friends gathered for Gabriella's first birthday. These are the only shots that I got, but the kids had a ton of fun playing, bouncing in the bounce house and eating cake, of course!

First Multiples Play Date

We went to Mill Run Park to meet some of the other families in the multiples group for a playdate. We were late but still managed to meet a few new people..all twins. Liam loved the playground

Ainsley and Campbell watched everything from the stroller at first but got to stretch out for a picnic lunch.

We took off on one of the walking trails along the creek and got "lost" in the woods there

By the time we finished our hike the park was empty. Liam didn't care and decided to practice the balance beam a few times and he is really pretty good at it.
