Playdate in the park

thanks to everyone for the phonecalls and emails asking about our transition into daycare and work. we appreciate the thoughts. everything is going fine and Liam seems to be adjusting nicely.

After another long day at school, Liam finally finds a quiet spot.

Liam's first day at school

After his big first day at school, we went to visit his cousins. Katherine gave him an airplane ride.

Liam helped her with her homework because he didn't have any.

After a long day with one twenty minute nap, he fell fast asleep in the car on the way home.

Summer is over and school starts tomorrow!

We got to the fair one last time and Chuck did some fantasy tractor driving.

Liam discovered how much fun it is to play with his own tongue.

Jumping two weeks early, we turned Liam around in the car to face front and he is loving the view.

Labor Day with the Browns

It was a gorgeous day on Cayuga Lake

Liam loved following, imitating and wrestling with the Brown boys (Conor, Patrick and Declan)

Chuck tried to play lacrosse

Liam enjoyed even more pretzel rods

We tried some beer from Saranac Brewery, root beer that is!


Then we ran into this crowd of people that wouldn't budge

This was why- we got to see Hillary Clinton and her security was amazing.
There were secret service men everywhere!

and, we watched the state trooper show..always lots of fun.

Back to the fair with Isla and Abe

Even though we paid for a picture with the sea lions, our friend Hannah's version came out a lot better.
They were cute but they sure left a fishy wet smell on my head. yuck!


We met up with Abe and his friend Isla to check out the animals and have some lunch.

We saw the birds of prey exhibity with lots of hawks and an eagle.

The sand sculpture had a Harry Potter theme
