4.26.07 My own chair!

Another kisser!

When did you get here? I just woke up.

Aunt Barbie brought me a new chair for the porch.
This is pretty cool.

I could sit here all day.

4.25.07 I like the duck but...

Now that Liam can sit up by himself, he refuses to lay
in the bath and will not sit in a bath seat.
This blow up duck was our best solution for a
fun bath time for Liam and for a sane mom and dad.

Liam's new summer weight jammies are size 12months and he is so excited about them.

But he doesn't understand what the funny white bumpy things are on the bottom of his feet.

Footies ..hmm, for walking? How about we just take these
off because that isn't happening any time soon.

4.24.07 Road Trip

We drove to Waterloo for some summer clothes shopping.

4.23.07 Dates and Ducks

Liam missed it. Lots of boy ducks were out eager for some food
but all of the ladies were staying close to their clutches.

We had a surprise visitor on Saturday night. Marissa had a dance competition all day near our house so she came by for some time with her cousin and some famoous Mexican take out.

Ithaca Market

We had a perfect Saturday with our friend Kelly at the Ithaca Farmer's Market. The food was great, Johnny Russo was playing show-tunes and we found some gorgeous tulips.

Liam loved the people watching(it's always extra special in Ithaca) and the music. Kelly got to carry Liam who decided he was too cool for his stroller.

Kenny showed up after a boating course to share some wine and some fun on this gorgeous spring day in Ithaca.

Beautiful Day

Chuck got home for the lunch hour today to visit with us before he headed north to open the cottage with his dad.

We spent a little time outside with Grady

But with no sunscreen, we didn't last long outside. Instead, we went to Target for sunscreen, sun hats, sandals and sunglasses. Somehow the nice weather snuck up on us..maybe because we were shoveling snow a few days ago?...

Naturally we headed over to see the Careys'. Katherine was happy to see us.

With his new sunglasses he tried out the trampoline for the first time. Will took this picture of Liam bouncing away in the sun.

We decided to see how much Liam is weighing these days.

We finally got some good weather today so Liam had his friend's over for a big party.

First, his aunt Susan came for a pre-party visit.


Soon, babies were everywhere..

Liam helped me out in the kitchen today while I did some baking.

At first he just wanted to play with his own spoon
But he quickly moved onto a large wooden one.. and the poor dog realized that the kitchen floor was no longer his sole territory.

Sundays are for sleeping

Chuck finally got what he always wants on a Sunday.. a sleeping baby to keep him on the couch.

We went for a nice walk around the neighborhood.


And to prepare for Liam's first sitter, we celebrated with a cookie..a wonderful, messy, cookie.

Chuck and I had a much needed dinner out!
